Any good 8.4V battery and you'll be fine, Firefox, Intellect, the one's stocked by QAS (racing packs apparently, so they're suited better for higher outputs)
*sells lipos and gets decent Nimhs...*

    sorry its a classic army
so would a 8.4v 1500NiMh crane stock battery is good then?
its just ive seen alot of crane stock batteries but then it says they fit a CQBR and they only have 2 sets of cells but the one for the M15 is a 3 cell set if i remeber right

    yea thats the one alright...
those ones are hard to come by with 9.6v and 1500-2000 Nimh which is what my sportline will take i think

just saw that SE have some firefox 9.6v 4000mah crane stock batteries back in stock...

would they be too big or would it be best for a smaller one?

all CA gun will take a 9.6v battery, I have found that the two part battery fits better
