    Greetings all
Just wanna tell everyone about my experience of cancelling my O2 broadband(which I thought could't be hard right?). So off i went and rang the 1909 and after a couple of mins i got through to someone, told the person i would like to terminate my broadband. She asked for my details and told me to e mail to this address " broadband.disconnections@o2.com " okay thank you for you're help i said. So i typed in the address she gave me and the page came up but there's no link on this page about disconnecting broadband!! So rang 1909 again but after 20mins queuing i hung up. Not happy me

Perhaps you skipped something for the sake of brevity, but she told you to email that address not go to a webpage. Maybe I'm misunderstanding but it sound like you typed it into a browser rather than sending an email to it.

Although I will agree that you should be able to cancel this via the phone rather than having to send a separate email.

Yeah, that's an email address, not a website. You just send you cancellation request and account details and you're done. Always best to put cancellation requests in writing, otherwise you've got no proof you ever requested it.

I really don't see the issue with sending one email. You could have done this in half the time it took you to post this thread.
