    Hi,

Anybody have any issues with the engine computer going on a fiesta. Left the car in for a service and only got it back when computer went on it. Cost €1,100 to repair (including labour).

I'm a bit suspicious it went just after getting service done. Any advice?

When you say computer are you referring to the car's ECU which manages the entire electronics in the car or the onboard computer that displays mpg, speed, etc?

It's not unheard of for a car's ECU to fail, it's an electronic component so it can fail. Not sure it's a common issue on the Fiesta though, at least I hope not as my sister has one. Unless you can prove that the garage caused the ECU to fail I don't think there is really alot that can be done.
