There isnt as far as I know. You could get Farrelly's bus from Athlone to Longford, then Bus Eireanns Longford to Cavan bus, I guess :(

EDIT: I said Farrelly's bus because it works out cheaper :P

    GALWAY-BELFAST SERVICE-No.78
Monday-Saturday at 12pm/midday from Cavan bus station to Athlone bus station via Longford, with no changes.(including Bank Holidays)

Sundays at 7pm from Cavan bus station to Athlone bus station(And Daly's apartments) with no changes. Also stops at Cypress Gardens and ValleyCourt if the driver knows that road and you ask nicely
(Service excludes Sundays before Bank Holidays)

Belfast bus back to Cavan from Athlone:
Monday-Saturday at 2.45pm from Athlone bus station(doesn't stop at the college) via Longford. No changes.
Sunday at 4.15pm, change in Longford.

From Cherryghost's flatmate, who has gotten these busses for four years.:p

The Sunday bus only runs during college time, so after mid-late May/early June you'll have to go to Dublin to get to Ahhlowinn on a Sunday by bus.
