is there any point getting the last map pack that they brought out, bearing in mind il probably get black ops in or around christmas? thoughts anyone?

If you love playing MW2 then go for it but if you only play from time to time theres no point really.

Personally I prefer the second pack to the first

It would make no sense to spend €12 on maps you are only going to play over the next 5 weeks.

So no, dont get them.

These are the maps you get in the last map pack:


Resurgence Pack Map Pack
* Strike – An urban town surrounded by hotels.
* Vacant – A wide open Russian office complex .
* Trailer Park – Full of “super tight corridors” and featuring a pool.
* Fuel – A “sniper haven” based in and around an oil refinery.
* Carnival – Features an abandoned carnival area with a Ferris wheel, fun house and other attractions.

From my point of view, I liked Strike, Trailer Park and Carnival. Fuel was just too big, and Vacant is okay. So you're getting three good maps in that pack. And as exioot says, I preferred this one to the first.

But you have to ask yourself how much you're going to play it at this point? If you're still clocking a few hours a day on MW2, then sure it's not a bad spend. But if it's only occasional games, then I'd say not to bother...

Keep the points and spend them on the first Black Ops map pack.
