    Hi,
Im thinking of converting an old stainless milk tank on wheels into a large hot tub! I dont have the tank yet but plan to get one with a clip down lid, idealy on wheels. Next i plan to find a stainless coil or two, drill two small holes on the side of tank and weld them onto the sides of said tank. weld a hot plate on the bottom of coils, fill with wood and in a few hours hopefully have a steaming hot tub big enough for a few people!
will this work? Any better ideas?

Sounds Slippy and dangerous no ?? Might need some antislip protection within it.

    Sounds cool to me...

However how are you going to heat the water. If your going to use your house boiler will it draw energy from your house.

What will the capacity of the tank be so you can work out the size of the elements.

I agree that the coils will want to be below boards you stand on....

As its metal and playful know doubt will you need earthing as such....
