Getting 2 DS for my kids for Christmas. I was going to get the XL but someone told me it is aimed at older people with poor eyesight, is it? The kids are 7 & 5.

    Thanks in advance

Depends really. They are both exactly the same. Would they prefer a bigger screen but a bigger console and the low resolution of the DS shows up more or the smaller screen and portability of the DSI. I'd go for the smaller model myself for portability.
