I noticed the Hit boxes for Knifing it all over the place, I've somehow knifed people that are two feet behind me, and it's not lag doing that.

Its an absolute joke, one of the most annoying perks from mw2 that treyarch said they wouldnt include is replaced by an invisible perk that everyone gets :rolleyes:

I've noticed this a few times myself but it seems to vary. Sometimes I lunge across a room and kill a guy, run around the next corner, sneak right up behind a guy and try to knife him only to miss.

This might be something for the next patch.

To be honest - I think its actually lag thats causing this. Same as MW2. Its just they tried to cover it up differently. They have some way of fudging up minor lag in COD games that others don't. I think its just manifesting differently in this game.

Yep. At times you seemingly lunge 5ft and other times it's a swipe with no forward momentum at all.

I think that might depend on the angle you're attacking from in relation to the guy you're trying to stab?


Either way, stabby stabby is completely crap in this game. In MW2, we used to play a lot of "sticks and stones" type games amongst ourselves using the throwing knife and stabbing. (commando allowed). Great craic. Nobody likes the game in Blobs, the stabbing is just random and ****e.

If they cant fix it, they should just remove it.
