There was a thread recently from someone who had bought a Nikon Lens mug and I can't find it. The one I want is specifically the one where the gold band is gold and not just yellow that was bought for €20.

I bought this canon one for €12 and it is really close to the real thing! Typical that Nikon is more expensive for the same thing ;)03.jpg

Great Christmas present for a photographer!!

I just bought one of those as a gift for the retiring President of our club. The box looked like the real thing and it even has a draw string bag inside. I had to fill the inside with a bag of sugar though, otherwise it felt too light.

We presented it to him on Monday night and it worked a treat. They are a good likeness until you look closely.

Thanks for the 100 miligrams site. I ordered a stylophone too!

best ever was when I was holding my BIL's lens and swapped it for my mug with keys in it. Rattled it and said 'This doesn't sound too healthy' He went the colour of putty.

... and I was accused of being a bastard? :)

Similar idea to the mugs and another cheap gift for photographers:

Have to say, tricking someone sounds much better than actually using it as a mug. I'd feel like a right photo-nerd :D
