I am in the process of moving country, and am looking to sell my car, but am not so sure of the price range I could ask. Its a 02 316SE with 100,000 miles on the clock. Its from the UK so has fair bit of extra's. I was thinking of asking for €4,000. Would anybody give me an idea if I am way off or not.

    Thanks

Buy a proper 3 series OP.

A 316i solely exists for badge snobs.

Get a 318i at least, the 2.0 Valvetronic models are much more in keeping with an "Ultimate Driving Machine". A 320d is best avoided because they are about as unreliable as a square wheel.

Did you read my original post? I am selling a 316, not buying a 318.

So sorry about that, I saw 316 and assumed you were contemplating buying one:D:o:o! I deleted my post because of its irrelevance.

Stick it up for €4k and see how you get on. If you get €3,500 you should be very happy with that.
