    edit: i got it sorted

    im just having an issue of connections now

    Pc 1 can connect to PC 2 and do stuff but it wont work the other way

    What way have you connected them?

    Did you manually set the IPs? Make sure the subnet mask and gateway are the same on both.

    we can't help you if you go out of your way to make it difficult.

    if you still have a problem please post your version(s) of windows and what you've done

    possibly the problem is firewalls and permissions, but life is too short to guess what the original post said ;)

    there both XP pro

    the issue im having is that on this machine the WMI is corrupt and i gotta get a cd to fix it

    would that be why PC A can see B but cant connect ?
