Sound watching movies on Iphone

Hi folks, I find when watching movies on my iphone on a train or bus the sound is terrible compared to playing music or listening to radio stations. Is there any reason for this? If so can I improve is anyway or do I just need to buy a better set of earphones. At the moment I use the regular set than came with the phone.

I watch TV shows\Movies on my iPhone all the time! I used to use the earphones that came with the iPhone but the sound got very tinny after about 6 months or so. I know use a pair of headphones that give great sounds. - I'd say it is just a new set that you need...BTW - you get what you pay for.

Also, some movies are just quiet and there is nothing you can do about that...
