Any videos for singles by non-Irish acts that were filmed over here? There don't seem to be many, which is maybe a little surprising . . .

James filmed this video in the Ballyferriter / Dingle area back around 1998, but I personally don't know of others . . . any ideas?

Wicklow in Ireland, with the girls running around the streets dancing, jump roping, hula hooping, and participating in competitions of various kinds. At the end, they all sing on stage at a bar."

While browsing another boards forum a little earlier I saw mention of this Dusty Springfield video, which from what I can gather might have been the last one that she filmed.

The locations are Menlo Castle outside Galway and the Poulnabrone Dolmen in the Burren in Clare. Springfield herself was of course born (as Mary O'Brien) into an Irish family in London.

i always thought that was filmed in a house in the UK they were pretending to buy - but handed the keys back after filming

Decided to do a google search to see if it might throw up some more; quite a lot, however, very few from established artists . . . will maybe look in the next few days to see what ones might be worth posting.

Found one that definitely is worth a look - very well produced vid shot in and around the West coast. No idea of the locations though, although I think the Menlo one might be there again
