    I've tried it and it works. But the iPhone charger has a lower wattage and takes forever to charge an iPad. I'd say about 4 times longer. If you were using the iPad at the same time it probably wouldn't charge at all.

    Wonder would the original iPod charger be any better then? I have one of those somewhere too. I'm thinking it's the same as the iPad one though.

    The iPhone 4 plug is the same as the iPad plug shown.

    Yea I am. The iPad one looks like the old iPhone charger, but I'm guessing it's larger. Doh.
