Can you do the test with the space saver spare trye ?

I have the test in the morning and won't get a chance to fix the puncture on the regular tyre.

    Thanks :)

Failure; from NCTS manual page 55:

    "Tyre Fitment

    (1) Tyres fitted to individual axles are not of the same size, aspect ratio or type (i.e. cross ply or radial ply).
    (2) Radial ply tyres are fitted to the front wheels but not to the rear wheels.
    (3) Speed rating insufficient for maximum legal speed limit.
    (4) Space saving tyre fitted.
    (5) Type protrudes beyond bodywork... "

They are not checking your spare tyre in the boot.
But you can't have space saver tyre fitted on vehicle during test.

I assume its only a visual fail but it still can be tested with the space saver? I'm not to bothered about heading back later once I get the regular tyre sorted.

AFAIK they cant do the brake test with the space saver, so it'll be a paid retest with a booking as lane equipment will be needed for the retest.
