    Hi guys,
    Im finding it hard to make a decision between two car/vans here.

    Theyre both in great condition, and both more or less the same price. Heres the difference between them;

    07 Ford Focus Van, 96K Miles, No Warranty.

    05 ford Focus Van, 60K miles, 3 Months Engine and Gearbox Warranty.

    Im clueless about Motors, so any opnions welcome!:D

    If the year doesnt bother you they will be almost identical so the lower mileage one is a no brainer to me

    depends on asking price on both vans and condition. mileage doesn't really come into it any more as it takes 10 mins and a laptop to change the mileage to whatever you want when selling.

    I wouldn't make a decision based on the info supplied here, have each checked over by a mechanic and also what engines are they? Are both the newer shape? It's possible the '05 is the older shape

    If you don't do big miles yourself the 07 will be easier for flog in a few years time I would think. Again, as other folks have said hard to answer your question with the details you have supplied. Age of the van mightn't bother you but it will bother most other folks so I would be leaning towards the newer one if she was sound and straight.

    €80 notes is more than enough.

    Doing well to get that a day this weather.

    If you're bringing him (driving him) give him 60 euro. If not 70/80. 150 is crazy.

    He'll more than likely tell you what he wants for the hour, I wouldn't go throwing €80 at him, he may only want €30/€40.

    Make sure you ask him before you bring him so you know what to expect

    What about major maintenance, it could be that the high miler has just had the timing belt done while the low miler will need it done in the next year.
