Hope this is the right place for this.

I'm looking to buy some D&D miniatures as a gift for a friend and I'm wondering if there are any sites that are good for that kind of thing.

    Thanks in advance.

I was looking for the same a few weeks go.

http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ have a decent enough selection of the most recent releases, and they're not too expensive. I recently bought the 3 below and left reviews for them on the site if you'd like to give them a read. Or if you've any questions about them just ask.

    Starter set

    Monster Manual Legendary Evils

    Monster Manual Savage Encounters

As a follow on Q, anyone know anywhere to get some cheap minitures, not concerned what game/world they are from. Have some kids that are going mad to paint some and I don't want to spend the GW type prices just for the kids to practice on.
    All suggestions welcome!

There's a huge selection on eBay, the majority seem to be unpainted packs. Best of luck.

Cant fault ebay if your looking for stuff to practice on, but if your looking to buy models brand new I can recommend Maelstrom Games. Really good product line up, decently priced and free postage to boot
