Shows what he can do when he gets some support from the top order

Super stuff from Gayle - twice a triple century maker!

Gayle is class to be fair. Had he had a better team around him for most of his career he would have done that a few more times I reckon.

Its a pity one of the days was lost to rain or WI might have had a good chance to win this match

    Wow. A triple nelson.
I'd like to see highlights of that innings. How many balls did he get it off?

    That's quite a strike rate.

I've never been Gayle's biggest fan, but this is an excellent achievement.

I met him as well; in Clontarf a few years ago when we played the WI. The guy is huge! A more laid back professional sportsman I doubt youll ever find! Nice fellow.

I agree TD I'm not his biggest fan but to score 333 in a Test game at 76.20, is very impressive :)...

    The weather's ruined this series:(

Still a good series for the WI despite the washouts, their batting seems to have improved a lot, mostly due to Darren Bravo who definitely deserves a special mention, he seems like the best new test cricketer they've had for a while. With him, Nash, Gayle and Chanderpaul they could actually be a competitive test team.

The bowling still doesn't seem great though, they need a 2nd strike bowler to work with Roach
