just wondering is mt.leinster on low output power on the dtt service?.
my dtt channels have been breaking up badly and pixelating, and i tryed the outdoor aerial but no improvement.
last week the were working grand, but even before then i have noticed the channels breaking up very bad.

anyone else getting this from mt.leinster with the dtt channels?.

I have a similar problem, located 10 miles south of Kilkenny, can almost see Mt. Leinster from where I live

I suspect Mt Leinsters output to the East has been capped due to them interfering with ch45 reception in wales.
Ironically this exacerbates the reverse problem on this side especially in wexford where the presely tx interferes with mt leinsters ch45 for even people with just a mt leinster aerial and no welsh aerial.
This is because presely's reception in wexford fluctuates from medium one day to very very strong the next day.
It gets very strong in advance of an approaching weather front funilly enough.
I don't know the science behind why but it does.
It always did with analogue and is the same with dtt.
As we get a lot of rain, year round, the choice of mt leinster 45 co channel with presely is barmy.

It's a rather silly bit of network planning.Ch39 as a channel travels a lot better than 45 anyway with no co channel issues and is cleared for use at Mt Leinster.

Leinster on 45 is quite weaker here (between New Ross and Wexford) in the past few weeks than what it used to be so something has happened anyway. I don't have a strong Presely reception in this location so its not interference. Unfortunately I never measured the signal strength in dB here.
