I was down in my Da's yesterday & he was just wondering would it be possible for him to watch Sky in his bedroom - he has Sky in the sitting room - when we had a look in the attic we found the Sky IN connection from the dish - what we tried to do was Split the signal to 2 OUT feeds ( 1 from the sitting room & one from the bedroom ) but when we did this we lost the Sky signal in the sitting room - once we disconnected the bedroom connection the Sky signal in the sitting room came back .. ( we were just using a 2 way splitter that he picked up in DID ) Any help would be greatly appreciated .. Cheers ..

You can get a transmitter in woddies or d.i.d/power city for about €50 that will send the signal to another tv within about 25 meters. It will allow you to control the sky box from the other tv also which is handy.

This same question has been asked plenty times before.

You'll need a quad LNB on your dish with separate cables run to the TV points.

You can't split a satellite signal. Does he want to watch the same channel in the bedroom as the main TV? If he wants a different channel then you will need an additional receiver.

Here's the 'magic eye' you're talking about http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_7?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=sky+eye&sprefix=sky+eye

Simply run a cable from the RF2 outlet on the box (make sure to turn the power to it on) Instructions to do this are in the manual for your Sky box.

    Or try one of these:Product_detail_Wk45S8.jpg

Have one myself and easy to set up and use.

No, it's one or the other - you don't need both.

No cables needed when using the video sender, plug the sender into scart socket on back of the box and the receiver into the second tv.A little remote sensor sticks to front of your sky box beside where the box picks up signals from the remote.
