There was a Smarties Luas (interior only) for Halloween.

    Original (Red line):
    20 x 30m, 3 sections, Numbering series 30XX.

    Second batch (Green line):
    4 x 30m, 3 sections, Numbering series 30XX.
    16 x 40m, 5 sections, Numbering series 40XX.

    Extension programme
All 30m trams extended to 40m, by adding one long and one short intermediate section. Numbering series remains 30XX.

    Recent purchases for line extensions
    2(?) x 42m for B1, 7 sections, Numbering series 50XX.
    10(?) x 42m for B1, 7 sections, Numbering series 50XX.
    12(?) x 42m for A1, 7 sections, Numbering series 50XX.

In practice all 42m trams are on the Green line with some 40m trams moved to the Red Line.

That was Guinness. It had Large Guinness letters in different colours on a black backround. Have photos of it. There was also an Eircell Dart.

Didn't the RPA make a big hullabloo about the Luas' very simple silver livery and say they were never going to run advertising on it? Having said that, if it raises money that can be reinvested in the service, its a good idea.

I have never been able to get why there is no fixed "Luas" branding anywhere on any of the Luas trams or signage at stops, it only ever appears on printed advertising material. Maybe its due to the awful logo they chose.

<afterhours> With a tagline of "Nowhere is safe", wouldn't this advertising be better suited for the Red Line? </afterhours>

I thin k that was someone else saying that that is the way it should be.

They had one tram done in a Vodafone design for a time.
