Does anyone know where you can but Okra in Dublin? I've been looking for it for ages but can't find it anywhere. I usually shop in Tesco which usually has a fairly decent selection of the more exotic foods, but lately they've gone to pot.

I'm guessing I'd have to go to a specialist, but I've no idea where to start.

I was going to suggest Tesco. My local Tesco sells it (Wexford).

    You could try asia market?

The Indian/Pakistani shops on Richmond St South should still be selling okra. Most other similar ethnic shops also have them, especially the ones with loose veg for sale.

I saw it in my Tesco once, and then never again. They're very like that, they have something for a week or two and then it's gone for months.

Thanks for the other suggestions too, I'll give them a try.

If you're really stuck I have a colleague from Pakistan who's always eating okra (not a fan myself :P ) if you still can't find it PM me and I'll ask him where he gets it for you.

Sometimes not, if the product isn't selling the ordering system switches the line off so as a previous poster pointed out the product comes and goes in there local Tesco and the exotic range gets limited at certain times of year.
