    Feel so silly posting this, but want to be safe not sorry!

    Basically had sex with my BF yesterday morning, but forgot to take my pill, it wasn't where I usually have it (beside my bed) so just slipped my mind. Took it as soon as I realised at around 8pm that night.

    I know Im just working myself up, but am I taking a risk here? Should I take the mornign after pill? Even just writing that I feel so silly. Am I just overreacting?

    Different types of pill may work differently, I'm not sure, but with mine anyways as long as you have been taking it like a saint beforehand, if you forget to take one you should still be protected so long as you take it again asap. It doesn't matter if you're a few hours late, however I think if you're more than 12hrs late in taking it it's recommened that you take 2 at once, then continue on as normal the next day (that's what mine says anyways)

    It all depends on what type of pill you're on and how long you've been taking it, and I'm by no means an expert I'm just going on personal knowledge here, but I'd say as long as you've been taking it properly before - as in you took it yesterday - then took it again as soon as you remembered, you'll be fine chick!
