Reindeer meat in LIDL causing stir?

Hi all!

Apparently the good people of Britain are concerned that LIDL is ruining their christmas by selling reindeer meat? What say you fellow christmas enthusiasts? Would you mind a bit of Rudolpf on your plate?;)

Personally love reindeer meat, low-fat and tasty, v good for diet too! Also love reindeer, sweet daft animals and way too often mocking around on the roads!:pac::rolleyes:

I've tried venison, so I would imagine it would be somewhat like it.

Ah lads, reindeer meat is only an exotic version of beef. Reindeer are herded animals mainly by the Saami people of northern Scandinavia and Russia (aka Lapland). It's like buying buffalo from the native Americans. I've had it for Christmas dinner and it's a very nice dish.
