    Just a thought on the current discusion surrounding the rate of UB and the fact that it may be preventing people taking jobs and the cutting of same to encourage people back to work.

    The purpose of this thread is not to discuss the in and outs of the above but lets say the argument above is true -

    Where are all the unfilled jobs ????

    Perhaps the question is where are all the un-created jobs?
    A: waiting for the minimum wage to come down to a level where it becomes cost effective to employ extra people.

    There is plenty of people both young and old who would work for minimum wage
