ok so i work for a fairly large company and a thought came to me earlier for a change and i was thinking if i told my employer that i was closing all my bank accounts so i couldn't get paid into my account anymore what would they do?

would they issue me a cheque? will banks cash it?

Will they force me to open an account again?

Or would they actually pay me in cash?

And no before people ask i'm not trying to do this job cash in hand so i can claim dole too just wondering

    Ask your company, it depends.
My company does not pay by cheque or cash so I wouldn't get paid without a bank account.

I am just wondering how you thought here would be a good place to ask such a question.

Work and jobs forum apparently is where the answers are.
