Just been taking a look at Fatcheese and noticed a couple of new offers. They now have AA which gives €30 cashback on either membership, car insurance or home insurance.

Be carefull of the AA breakdown cover. I recently got caught out trying to cancel it. I've had the breakdown cover for about four years and payed by direct debit. When I went to cancel, I was told that I was still in contract! Apparently it rolls over into a new 12 month contract *every* year. So you only have a couple of weeks each year to cancel it.

On top of that Conor Pope had an interesting article on the breakdown cover. In some cases the cover from your car insurance is superior to the aa cover:

My own experience of the aa breakdown cover has been very unimpressive based on two call outs.

This was also on Fatcheese weekly newsletter today... AA have a €30 discount this weekend only so along with the cashback it comes to €7.17 per month.
