If you're married & your spouse is working, you can temporarily transfer your tax free allowances to them. It'll increase the amount they can take home before paying tax…

I'm out of work for three weeks now, but it hadn't occurred to me. If you're married & your spouse is working, you can temporarily transfer your tax free allowances to them. It'll increase the amount they can take home before paying tax & you can transfer it back when you get work.

Might be helpful to some.
