    Hi,
Potential trouble here with a 02 Mondeo TDCI……..
For about the last 2 weeks or so the car won’t lock/unlock correctly when I use the fob. Back doors might open, driver door won’t, etc.
Now it won’t lock at all when I press lock button on the fob.
Locking the doors manually with the key works fine.
This morning the battery light flashed on while I was driving to work but went off again after a couple of seconds. I checked that the demisters were off and they were.
Then when I got to work both demisters were on. I definitely did not turn them on.
Could these irregularities be connected, particularly the battery light/demisters?
    Does this sound like trouble
    Thanks

The alternator went on 2 cars on me before and the battery light coming on was always the first sign of it, then you'd feel power being lost, e.g lights would dim when in traffic or that.

I don't know if its the same on yours but worth keepng an eye on.

Cheers. Alternator has been replaced not too long ago. Battery could well be on the way out and I suspect it is but I don't understand how both demisters just turned themselves on!! Thats the bit that is worrying me...
