They are good for small areas but don't even bother trying to do a large area like your legs!

Did you buy the boots laser one? Its quite expensive so want to be sure it works.

Why would it not work on legs, does it takes ages?

I have the boots one, only on week 2 so dunno how good it'll be but I do my legs...takes about an hour

I was tempted by these before but am taking the plunge after Christmas and getting lasered professionally, think it's the safer option to be honest and you'll prob get much better results

I already have paid a fortune getting laser done and it hasnt worked so not prepared to pay that much again to get it done profesionally. I went to therapie and really wouldnt recommend it unless you can afford to keep going back to them.

If you had it at home you could use it as much as you want. Anyone else recommend the home ones? Does the epilator cause ingrown hairs? Want to get something that I can use at home. Cant afford to go 'professional'.

Don't do it! I've heard so many horror stories about those home laser machines, you could do yourself some serious damage! Also, therapists get training to use those machines in the right way to treat your hair and your skin. I really don't believe the instruction manule would really equip you with the same expertise.

Thanks for replies, but not sure they would cause that much damage when they are being sold in Boots. I think this is a way to scare people into only getting it done by therapists. It costs a fortune and not everyone can afford it!

Would love to hear more from DEE and Elli-May to see how they got on or from anyone who has used one.
