Getting Sky multiroom with your own Sky box

I've had a Sky+ box for a few years and am planning to get Sky multiroom. I think it'll be €15 a month which is okayish but you also have to pay €200 to get a Sky+ box with it! (The normal Sky box is free but I'd rather Sky+)

I saw that on Ebay people are selling Sky+ boxes from anything as little as €50 - hypothetically would I have to pay the €200 to Sky if I happened to have a 'spare' box?!

Don't know who quoted you €200 for Sky+ upgrade to multiroom. Tell them you have a standard Sky box and it will only cost you €60 to upgrade.Best to go through a third party retailer,they're easier to deal with generally.

Is there an upgrade charge too?! The €200 (well, €199 ) is for the box itself.

The €199 charge is applied if you already got a Sky+ box at a discount price when you originally signed up,as I said tell them you only have a standard box.;)
