Apologies to the mods if this is in the wrong area, wasnt sure where to post it.

i have a quick question regarding itunes.

I want to import all the cd singles i have at home, been meaning to do it for ages but never got around to it, so i started it today, but every cd i import it creates a brand new folder with the mp3 file in it, and is in the itunes destination folder, which is pretty annoying because at the end of it all, i will have about 500+ folders and will have to manually remove the file from the folder and place it back in the destination folder. Is there a way were i can just import the mp3 file into the itunes destination folder without creating a folder for every cd single?

Thanks to anyone who can help

Go to settings advanced and make sure the 2 options are selected:

    Keep iTunes Media Folder Organised

    AND

Copy files to iTunes Media Folder when adding to Library.

That should sort it for you.
There should be an option in iTunes under windows for consolidate Library too which will copy all music into the library into the itunes directory.
