What airlines will operate out of T2?

I know in some countries the home carrier operates out of the main terminal with others i.e. lowcosts/charters operating out of all other terminals?

Aer Lingus will be the 'anchor tenant' so to speak, all their operations will be out of T2. All the US legacy carriers,AA/Delta/Continental & US Airways will also be operating from there too. All of Ethihads flights to Abu Dhabi will use T2.

T1 will be left with all of Ryanairs operations along with BMI,Cityjet,Lufthansa etc.

At the moment it looks like Aer Lingus are taking a softly softly approach and will be ramping up their move to T2 pretty slowly. They've pulled back from moving all London and Continental Europe flights in one go and will gradually add flights as the weeks go by. It'll be the new year before T2 is fully in operation by all it's airlines.

All of Aer Lingus check-in etc will eventually be in T2 but not all flights will be departing from it. The majority of flights will depart from T2 but some flights will be departing from Pier B and sometimes Pier A in T1.

    Not true.

There is going to be a low amount of Aer Lingus flights using T2 before the new year,

There was an Aer Lingus flight to Munich yesterday from T2.

Yes this is true but they checked in in T1.The whole building in T2 was open and staffed to facilate two departures and one arrival. Now noboby can tell me that's not a money losing way of doing buisness.
I went to the Airport to have a look around. There is only a Spar shop and a WH Smith open on the arrivals floor. The bar and the food shops are not even finished yet.
I still maintain that the DAA are making idiots of themselves again with the way that they are operating.(Aer Lingus are not helping by trying to renegotiate their contracts).
Simple fact T2 should not have opened until it is finished. There is still more builders than passengers/customers in it.

The reason for that is because the staff were given a contract and it started in october, so they have no choice but to work the staff to 40 hours a week....passengers or no passengers.

My theory on it is the DAA advertised T2 to open in November so a U turn wasnt an option.
