Check out www.freesatdirectory.ie i think there's 2 installers in rocommon on their site.

Installers prices vary so you need to shop around but my advice would be not to go for the most expensive and at the same time cheap isn't always best.

Great to see so many installers looking for work, but Antocann, I would suggest whoever you decide they have PL and a number of years in the business. There are so many quick buck (satellite installers) out there now.

I've heard of these installers, collecting money, and when something goes wrong, you cannot contact them again.

    Regards,

    Gerry

This is why we are setting up the ISAA, so customers have a comeback, if there is a problem in the future, they can contact us directly, and our members have proper trainning, and insurance.

Not saying the above installers haven't got trainning, or Insurance but be careful.

Thats great advice to give Antocann, you should always check to see if the installer has Public liability insurance, number of years in the business and its also very important to pick a local installer ,who isn't traveling to far to do the install, that way your more likely to get him back if you have a fault.
Ask for references of work done.

But if an installer fulfills all these requirements , then the customer should be
happy to proceed, there's no need for installers to be a member of an organisation .

The same goes if somebody is looking for carpenter, tiler, plumber, electrican and any other tradesman that you care to mention.
