Going back to my roots :)

Hey all, so I'm a natural red head, and for years I was bullied because of it, so I decided to start dying it. So for the last 4 years I've bounced from almost scarlet, to purple, to black and back now to purple. when my hair was black, I grew the roots out about 2.5 inches, then decided to put more black on top. Bad idea.

Anyways, the point is, I'm older now, and I miss my red hair. So i'm going to get it back. But how much does a stripping and re-tint cost in the salons? Or what other ways are there to go about it bar shave my head?

I did pretty much the same thing as you, I got told it would cost me about 200e in peter mark, went in and cost me over 300e, in their defence it was three years of home dyes I had jet black in my hair as the last colour. They put an amazing red in my hair after and I was really happy.
My hair is quite fair so half the time I put a red dye in it goes too brown (my hair just gulps up the colour), I found now I can use colour B4, costs the same as normal chemist hair dye and takes everything off. I don't think it will take off four years of hair dye including black (black is a stain rather then a dye or something?). You'd have to try find out. Here's some info about it http://www.scottcornwall.com/index.php/faq
