Reconditioning a 2002 Nissan Primera

    A friend of mine has a 2002 1.6 Primera and he's looking to recondition it. Any ideas?
    Where it could be done?
    Any specialists?
    In Meath btw.

    sorry to hijack the thread a bit but i was looking at buying a 00 1.6, whats wrong with your friends that he needs to recondition it?

    What is ment by reconditition? What issues has it got? Engine, chassis, body?

    I'm not lookin to recondition it I'm trying to sus a replacement engine as the current is burning serious amounts of oil, so in the case that it may be the pistons needing to be replaced I would be better off changing the engine but I'm hoping it's just the valve stem seals or the pcv or exhaust valve, but any other possibilities in willing to hear. ThAnks, am the owner by the way.

    This is probably the most incomprehensible and disconnected thread on Boards ever....

    OP, if you want to recondition your Primera it will cost you roughly between 100 (alternator) and 50000 (full chassis, body, engine) depending on how much work it needs. If you need the 50 grand option you'll be better off buying a brand new vehicle.

    Im not trying to recondition, trying to sus a replacement engine, he got the post all wrong, anyway i left a post above this 1 explaining the current problems.
