Hi, does anyone know what the story with IT103 is? It's free most of the time, but most of the time i can't log in. I've tried maybe 4 or 5 times to log in on different occasions and i've only managed to log on once or twice, and that was using the "Workstation only" option. Do you have to be registered on a particular course or something to use this room?

    Getting confused about this myself.
I can log on no problem, but other lads I know can't. The first 3 or 4 computers when you go in the door work most of the time. From asking a few lecturers, they seem to be set aside for Networking or Programming or some sort of systems related computer course. The computers aren't fully recognised on the network and the firewalls are different. Might be better trying IT201. Nearly always free when I need a room.

If its the same as last year when I was there, that's the Forensics Lab (open to correction). We used that room for forensic stuff which requires specific network settings and applications. There are plenty of computers in the tourism and leisure building.
