    Alright, I've just been thinking now - Gyro Ball make no sense.

    How is it a move classed as "The user tackles the foe with a high-speed spin." able to do more damage when you're slower than the opponent?

    Surely if you're faster, then when you're executing the move than you'd be able to get even more power behind it? It makes very little sense, how e.g. a fast ball like Electrode would actually do less damage with it than something like Bronzor...

    Nintendo logic, explain this one please :confused:

    It's like Judo, the faster the opponent is moving (and since they're facing you in the default Pokébattle stance we can assume the direction in which their speed acts is opposite to your own) when you spin into them, the faster they're flung out the other side, ergo the more damage you do. Mass is not taken into account because of the OH MY GOD! LOOK AT THAT SHINEY MEWTWO! *runs for the door*
