Since September 2008, we have set up a youth wheelchair basketball team, the Titans Tornadoes. Currently, we have 10 players aged 6 to 14 and we are training every saturday in Westside in Galway.

we have played in two exhibitions and would like to go further. We are looking for potential new players and other similar teams around the country.

Our objective is to play competitive games and hopefully start a Junior wheelchair basketball league.

If you are interested please let us know.

Note that we also have an adult wheelchair team within the Titans basketball club. www.titans.ie

    Hi,
I supposed you are talking of able bodied basketball here.

There is a club in Claregalway and should be one in Tuam as well.

Claregalway Basketball Club - Claregalway Leisure Centre, Claregalway
Tuam Basketball Club - Convent of Mercy Gym, Tuam

You should check with basketball Ireland for more info.

    Hope that helps
