If you had payed full price for it, it would have been a rip-off. Ive seen similar machines in HMV for €120, so its probably a bargain IMO.

The fact that it runs Windows CE makes it a very bad buy. Don't expect to run many applications or progams with it.

This note book is running Windows CE 5.0 and the hardware is very old. I think even if the price is 50 euro, it still is not a good buy. Basically there is not much you can do with this computer.

    Thanks

    It's not a notebook. It's a pda with a colour screen. I wouldn't spend a tenner on one tbh.

Even if you cant cancel, you have 7 days cooling off period to send them back for full refund less shipping

Never ever heard of Windows CE until now:D

To echo what everyone is saying here, these machines were out of date the day they were released. Most mobile phones would outperform them these days. The kids would be very dissappointed so you are right to send them back.

They'll probably throw them at you I know mine would! (Have a tech freak 4 year old) I'd contact them should be easy enough to cancel I'm sure the order wouldn't have shipped yet.

  • Sounds like "notbook" was an accurate description after all :D

Iv sent an email to cancel the order i only ordered them last nite

They do have their merits in some ways. WinCE is pretty crap for most things, but for just watching movies, those small WinCE books are actually pretty good....at the right price. Would definitely not pay anywhere near 99 for them, considering that for that price you'd get some sort of basic tablet type device.
