Can anyone recommend anywhere in South Dublin where we can get this carried out on our 20 month old? Twice now his lips have swelled up in creche after eating and we have narrowed it down to peas. He has also been sick the three times we have tried giving him eggs so we would like to get a comprehensive test carried out. Thanks!

Go to your GP / paediatrician.

A lot of the mickey-mouse UK places (including major pharmacies) offering "food / instant allergy-testing" outside of a formal medical testing environment were featured on a recent UK TV programme and their services proved to be a sham; pseudo-science at best, potentially dangerous at worst.

Thats why I posted as a quick google made me pretty nervous about some of the places I saw! First port of call was our GP but she doesn't do them. Might contact the Public Health Nurse and ask her but if anyone has any recommendations please post here also thanks

Would your GP not give you a referral? You should be able to get this done through the public system if there have been incidents of severe reactions.

I can recommend the Slievemore Clinic, Dr. Paul Carson runs an allergy testing clinic there. They are based in Stillorgan.
