    Hi,

Myself and a friend are thinking of starting up our own business in the food industry, a partnership to be precise.

So I was just wondering what legal issues might I face when doing this?

    Thanks in advance

you have to create contracts and ensure that both get the same return...and invest the same....basically contracts to state who makes the decisions in terms of a dispute etc.

i would advise you to contact a solicitor to prepare a partnership agreement. make sure that the solicitor does not have a business relationship with your other partner to ensure that the agreement is in the best interests of both parties. if you need a recommendation of a solicitor PM me and I will give you details

You should not enter a partnership. If you are considering this you should get legal advice.

    Hi Manutd for life
You should also consider a limited company rather than a partnership.
Many advantages over a partnership in my opinion.
