    Hi Guys,

I recently broke up with a real b*stard of a guy. I found out he had been cheating on me with not one but two other girls! I confronted him with proof and he went mad at being caught and lashed out at me. We had been together 8 months and I had really fallen for him:(

Anyway, I ended it and have been slowly building myself back up. Recently however my facebook account was hacked and I think it was him that did it. I can't think of anyone else who would. My status said 'I'm a sl*t'. I deleted it and changed my password.

I don't recall ever giving him my email password but my intuition is saying it's him that's hacking me. My gmail was also hacked into and I've changed the password now too.

Basically emails were sent to loads of people in my address book saying nasty things.
I had to email everyone explaining and apologising. It was really embarassing and I'm not sure people even believe me!

Is there any way I can find out what's going on and who did this?
I'm 100% certain it's him but need evidence.

    Is this illegal?

    Thanks guys

I doubt youll find out who did this. But make sure your passwords are secure, even though youve changed them. Dont use the same pw or email for multiple sites. Use symbols, numbers, upper and lowercase letters in your pw and keep it random. No real words.

Chalk it up as a lesson in internet security and try to move on. You could report it to the gardai, but I doubt they will do anything.

Shut down your existing email accounts and create new ones, it's good to do that sometimes. When I dumped his ass I got a new number and a new email address etc.
It also means he can't stalk you via FB cos he won't know your new email address to do a search.
