What type of Ray is this?

    Hi guys. I caught this Ray on the shore lastnight but I'm not sure what type it is. Can anyone identify it for me please and thanks.

    Thornback I think, but I'm looking at it on my phone.. So its hard to see.

    Looks like you can see the barbs by his tail

    Cheers fellas. Yeah its hard to identify it from the poor quality pics but they were taken on a crappy iphone in the dark and we were rushing to release the fish back alive. Here is another image if its any more clearer?
