What firmware can I jb+unlock with on iphone 3g

Hi everybody,

I am on my second iPhone 3g. I used my first one on 4.1 with no problems but it was factory unlocked. The one I have now is relying on ultrasn0w for its unlock.

I accidentally pressed "erase all content and settings" while jailbroken on this phone and now need to choose a firmware to put on (I have SHSHs saved for 4.0.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.1 - the original user was on o2 so didn't need any unlock solution).

When I was using it before, I used 4.0.1 with jailbreakme and ultrasn0w but this was purely for the ease of jailbreak. If I can jailbreak and unlock on 4.1 I will do this. I am on baseband 05.13.04 if that helps.



Is it a case of install 4.1, jailbreak, install fuzzyband, downgrade baseband, install ultrasn0w to allow me to use the phone unlocked and jailbroken. If this is correct, what do I use to jailbreak? is it blackra1n or do I use something newer like greenpoison?

restore to 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 and use limera1n to jailbreak
the baseband for 4.1 is 05.14.02 and isnt unlockable yet

actually just re read the post,ya could go to 4.1 but if fuzzzyband wont work ur fooked till 4.2 comes out

I just tried snowbreeze 2.1 to install a jailbroken custom firmware without updating baseband. It seemed to go fine but now the phone is stuck on a snowbreeze logo. How do I get past this?
