A fantastic price but seems like a lot of poor reviews on this on amazon. Looks like 10% of customers have had major issues.

    Too good to be true?

How old are these bad reviews? I thought they'd iron out the issues with 2tb drives.

Still have to clear all the crappy defective stuff out of the Warehouses somehow before restocking the shelves.

    - Oh :(

Hmmm, just bought it this morning to go with the WDTV from Gruupy...looked at the recent reviews, the majority seem to be fine so lets hope they were just a few bad eggs!

Most of the negative reviews are for the 1tb version.
Hopefully they've sorted out the issues on the 2tb...
    (fingers crossed)

10% of people are also complete and utter ****tards... FACT!

Just skimming over some of the comments and you really shouldn't be letting them put you off it.
Hard drive's die all the time regardless of manufacturer, if it dies within a matter of days of owning it then chances are there was a problem with how roughly it was transported. If they had bothered going through WD's fantastic RMA procedure they would have had a replacement in a matter of days.

Windows explorer crashing? I think that's a problem with your own PC...
1 star because it's black and gets warm??? IT'S A ****ING BLACK HARD DRIVE YOU TWIT!
1 star because you bought it from an Amazon seller who didn't supply the UK plug? Seriously??

Jesus, that was almost as infuriating as reading youtube comments!
