C64 : Nuclear War Adventure game?

    I'm currently compiling a list of all the games I had on the C64 back in the day. It's pretty complete now but there's one I can't quite put a name to. I thought if I described it here then someone might know what I'm talking about.

    Basically (I think?) it was one of those old 'adventure' style games, ya know, the ones with the graphic on the top half of the screen and then text in the bottom half with description of the location and a prompt for you to type in "go north, pick up key" etc.

    The graphics of the game were pretty poor too. The page images seemed to have been made up of those "shapes" you could get from pressing shift on the standard keyset rather than graphics made from single pixels.     The plot of the game was based around nuclear wars / disarmament of of weapons and the first screen of the game had you outside a nuclear facility with a man guarding the gate.

    The last thing I seem to remember is the name of the game itself, tho not speicficially. It was something like "Global Nuclear War" or "Thermonuclear War". Some variation of that. I've tried these names but no matches so far.

    Any suggestions answers gratefully received.

    I was 100% sure the answer was Trinity when I saw the thread title...
    Or even Wastelands...
    My third guess was Missile Command!:rolleyes:
