I liked the LLS thread follow on Jools discussion. it had a 'lock in' quality, die hards only, but yeah, why not have a proper Jools thread!

Their lyrics can be out there. Have you ever heard "Young Bride"? Stunning piece of music.

I've seen two door cinema club live,

All their songs are similar, the same jingly guitar sound.

    pleasant, but fairly dull.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,614 ✭✭✭ArtSmart

good show so far. Apparently Slash and Jools are going off in the morning to buy an Aston Martin then head over to Jimi Hendrix's old house. Not a bad way to spend a morning!

    ah yeah, 2DCC are grand,

good to hear on the radio, but I wouldn't be rushing out to buy their album.

Who's this crowd? I Stepped outside for a smoke, so missed the Jools' intro. they sound like they are trying to be Kings of Leon without the huskiness.

I don't know why those AF songs were chosen for tonight - I love them, but to anybody hearing them for the first time, it makes them look a lot drearier than they are.

They played Month of May for the live broadcast, and it was a much better choice and performance than the ones aired tonight.

Agreed, 'Month of May' sounded fantastic!
