Hi there, I am a Commerce student doing a project on market research project on Xtra-Vision with the view of them bringing out an Online rental service such as the new ones out there like Screenclick.ie and Lovefilm.com.

Do you think Xtra-Vision would be successful if they were to launch a rental website service such as this?

Or maybe to provide a delievery service where the customer could ring Xtra-Vision and have a dvd or game delivered to them?

They sound like good ideas- provided the price is right. I'd love if they had an online video streaming service similar to Netflix watch instant.

Xbox live has this but a very small collection.
Realy, if they expanded their collection I'd use it more

OP, sounds like a good idea and I'd use it. But the price has to be right
Just remember there are large areas in Ireland which a minimal broadband service if any.
The delivery option might suit them

Do you think there is a market for Xtra-Vision for launch a Dvd delivery service where a customer and ring or order a Dvd online and have the dvd delivered to their door within the hour?

We have also learned that many people enjoy the social aspect of going to the Dvd shop and picking up the dvd themselves.

Does this appeal to you at all?

OP, you appear to have signed up to boards just for research purposes and to spam multiple forums with said research. For that reason, I'm locking this thread.
