    and knowing debenhams the "up to" part is the important part. - So expect 10% off most things you would like to buy and 25% off crap that's slow to sell.

    it still won't bring their prices down to the levels of local independent retailers

    Given the amount of sales in Debenhams I now consider the sale price to be the normal price and any other times to be a premium.

    In other words, anything you really want will be 10% off and the crap they want to get rid off will be 25% off.
